KANNAWIDAN YLOCOS FESTIVAL

Image result for kannawidan       Ilocos Sur is a beautiful province located in the Northen part of Luzon. It is a province rich in culture that represents the ancient Spanish and Filipino heritage. To show and share their treasures to the whole world, the locals conceived a festival that highlights these cultural traditions and they called it the "Kannawidan Festival".

       This festival at the end of January celebrates the best of Ilocos Sur culture, from tradition dress and folk dance to tribal rituals and
marching band contests. A food festival is also held at Plaza Salcedo. There is fireworks display after the meal, lighting up the sky with a million colorful specks and flashes.

    One interesting event of the festival is the annual "pinaka" contest where locals exhibit their amazing farm and fishery products and livestock. Anotheer activity that catches the attention of the visitors is the gathering at Vigan Plaza Hotel, where Ilocos Sur comes back to the olden times and participats wear their old-fashioned dresses as they party to the time of old songs and drown in the memories of old Ilocos.

Final Reflection

          My reflection is all about what I've learn on this year of being a grade 10 student. Ict is a hard subject for me because computer is involve in this subject. I hate facing computer but because it is mandatory that we need no create blogs, editing on adobe photoshop.         I would like to thank the teacher behind this success, our teacher in Ict. I know, she's always busy but as a student we understand her.
