Vigan City celebrates world Heritage Cities Solidarity Cultural Festival 2019

Chinese food like hopia, tikoy, egg misua, and moon cakes as well as Chinese charms were sold in the fair. 
           To appreciate the contributions of the Filipino-Chinese community in the development of Vigan City, the city government highlighted the Chinese Community Solidarity Festival. The event has been one of those featured in the month-long world Heritage Solidarity Cultural Festival celebrated in Vigan every September.

           Another great time to visit our Vigan, is during our World Heritage Cities Solidarity Day celebration every September 8. Vigan celebrate this with other cities all over the world that have world heritage sites.

           In Vigan, this special day is actually commemorated with week-long festivities aimed at strengthening pride in the history and culture of Vigan. This aim is in keeping with the long-term goal of preserving the 630 heritage structures that date back from the 18th and 19th century.
          One of the activities conducted during the Chinese Community Solidarity Festival was the Food Trade Fair.This event is celebrated to promote Chinese products and traditions to Biguenos as contribution of Filipino-Chines chamber of Vigan City to the Heritage Solidarity Cultural Festival.

           Vigan was awarded the UNESCO's Best Practice in World Heritage Management on the 40th Anniversary of the World Heritage Convention in Kyoto, Japan in 2012.

              In 2014, Vigan was named as one of the New Seven Wonders-Cities of the World and was officially inaugurated as such on May 7, 2015.

Final Reflection

          My reflection is all about what I've learn on this year of being a grade 10 student. Ict is a hard subject for me because computer is involve in this subject. I hate facing computer but because it is mandatory that we need no create blogs, editing on adobe photoshop.         I would like to thank the teacher behind this success, our teacher in Ict.
