Environment Awareness Month

        Environmental protection is the practice of protecting the natural environment by individuals, organizations and governments. Since the 1960's, environmental movements have created more awareness of the various environmental problems.      Some practical tips schools can adopt:Introduce the 3 R's: reduce waste, reuse resources, and recycle materials. Organise tree planting days at school and tell them why trees are important to the environment.Encourage children to switch off all appliances and lights when not in use.       Environmental awareness means being aware of the natural environment and making choices that benefit the earth, rather than hurt it. Some of the ways to practice environmental awareness include: using safe and non-toxic building supplies, conserving energy and water, recycling, activism, and others.

         The United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child adopted on 20 November 1989 is the first legally binding universal treaty solely dedicated to the promotion and protection of children’s rights. It sets out the rights that must be realized for every child the rights to survival, development, protection, and participation. It offers a vision of the child as an individual and as a member of a family and community, with rights and responsibilities appropriate to his or her age and stage of development.         By virtue of Republic Act 10661, the National Children’s Month in the Philippines which commemorates the adoption of the UN CRC on 20 November 1989, is annually celebrated every November. It seeks to instill its significance in the Filipino consciousness.      This November 2019 marks the 30th anniversary of the UNCRC and the 27th year of the NCM. Values Month Celebration

       Edukasyon Sa Pagpapakatao Department celebrating the Values Month, on this month  of  November with the theme: Pamilyang Pilipino Patatagin: Susi sa Paghubog ng Kabataang Maka-Diyos,Makatao,Makakalikasan at Makabansa. Obviously, from the theme of this celebration we already known the highlighted of this event.       Our school celebrating this month with  many activities to do like: Values quiz bee, making spoken poetry that is relevant to the theme, doxology and many more.       This is the one way to promote Filipino Values and moral awakening and national conciousness and human values that are unique, genuine  and positively Filipino. This are the 4 core Values for the Filipinos that they are appreciated, value and respect.            

UN Celebration

      " Indigenous Languages matter for sustainable development peace building and reconciliation" is the chosen theme for the celebration of United Nations.           The United Nations is an international  organization  founded in 1945 after the World War II by 51 countries committed to maintaining international  peace and security, developing  friendly relations among nations and promoting social progress, better living standards and human rights.         This United Nations  are famous art for their work in disaster relief, humanitarian aid, peacekeeping, and international unity. Every October or November were we celebrate  its anniversary as a reminder of the importance of diversity, culture, and the spirit of brotherhood .
